The course explores the leadership skills required to successfully provide services which meet the needs of children and adults with autism.

You will leave the session with the following:

• A knowledge of your own leadership style and its application for services with autism
• An overview of autism and an analysis  to identify further learning
• An understanding of how to adapt your service to meet the needs of the individual with autism

You will also leave the session with some practical tools which can be used to measure the effectiveness of your service in meeting the needs of the people you support.

* The course also provides the information to meet the learning outcomes within the level 5 unit- Promote good practice in the support of individuals with autistic spectrum conditions.
